Spaces Indiana presented four awards at the annual event that celebrates companies for their support of a workspace design that is unique, innovative, reflects the company’s brand, engages the employee base and enhances productivity. Three categories were awarded along with a People's Choice Award.

Upper Hand HQ

The new headquarters, located at 129 E. Market St. in the J.F. Wild Building in Indianapolis, provides our company with more than 5,000 square feet of office space that better meets the demands of our growing and collaborative workforce. The new space includes $200,000 worth of design upgrades that all serve as tools to drive productivity and encourage collaboration, including standing desks, conferences rooms with brand new televisions, white boards and more. Additionally, located in the heart of downtown, our headquarters is centrally located for employees and provides easy access to amenities that attract new talent while retaining team members.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana publicly announced the RISE capital and service growth campaign in September 2018 as part of a growth initiative that aligned with our strategic priority to establish a bolder presence in the community. With support from the campaign, BBBSCI purchased and renovated a building at 1433 North Meridian Street to generate more community awareness and engagement, have more space for staff growth and programming opportunities, and reduce annual operating costs.

Lessonly HQ

Lessonly, a rapidly scaling tech software company needed a new place to house their expanding team. Their new space, a renovated historic school building in Indy's Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood, has many amenities, such as ample flex workspace choices, a large café & work lounge, a yoga studio, “pair pod” training rooms, a library, a mother’s lounge, showers and access to the popular Monon trail. Their mission is to help others “do better work”, and their space must do exactly that for themselves.
